Why can't I throw in the towel and accept that life as we know it means we are all financially doomed? Though The American Dream is on life support, my dreams will not die. I'm not exactly sure why, but it is what it is. The yearning to become a successful online business entrepreneur has been all-consuming for too many years, I readily admit. But maybe that's what it takes: an unflappable passion for all things possible and a staunch belief in creating one's own luck, or at the very least, improving its chances.
Anyone remotely interested in entrepreneurialism always looks for the ground-floor enterprise. There are certainly way more than enough start-ups to pique anyone's interest. But for me, the days of the pyramids, the multi-levels, and the get-rich-quicks are over. But, your chances of actually earning money online still exist. It is up to each of us to find that special niche that has profound meaning to us. If you've ever tried getting involved in a business because you thought it would mean instant wealth, you soon realized that not only did you not get wealthy, you weren't really passionate about the business model itself.

Any business I'm involved with must mean something to me. It must be helpful to others who want to use the service itself, and maybe even to find a way to eek out another stream of income. Now, if this business were not only able to provide wonderful everyday services, but also capable of providing a steady and growing income for its users, that would be optimal. And, it would have to cost nothing to join and participate, at least for its core functions.
Paid portions of any program that may entice me must be legitimate and very low-cost with an option to never pay anything if so desired. The only way an online business is going to work and be attractive to the masses is for it to be completely above board, simple, easy to use, powerful, and above all else: honest. There can not be any start-up fees to become involved.
The business must sell itself. "Lotions, potions and pills" may turn you on, but they don't work for me. I refuse to promote any business that involves arm-twisting and a lot of rah-rah-sis-boom-bah baloney. I will only be interested in something that nobody has to be talked into, because they're already completely familiar with the services my company offers and may have used similar ones a million times before.
Don't try to reinvent the wheel. But, add a unique eye-popping (translation: monetary) twist. Give users a great experience doing what they're already used to doing, and add something so irresistible that they simply feel compelled to participate, as in generating a substantial potential income through diligent efforts.
The business must be based upon honesty, integrity, reasonable hopes and potential. No need for over-the-top and preposterous claims. Straight talk and sincerity must rule the day.
A "generosity component" must be at the very core of a solid business foundation. A willingness to share the lion's share of profits with those who are willing to become involved is not only desirable, it's a necessity. In these times of obscene money-grubbing profiteering at taxpayer expense that has resulted in lost jobs, homes, health insurance and retirement dreams, this business must take the opposite tack.
This business must provide realistic hope. Hope is the wonder drug of the human species. Without it, we can become paralyzed into inaction, depression, and failure. With it, all things are truly possible.
